The 4 Questions of Sean Taylor

The title is a shout out to my fellow MOTs.

Subtitle = Taylor Stream of consciousness

By now everyone has heard about what happened to Sean Taylor. Obviously I hope he's alright and all that jazz. But reading the article on ESPN makes me ask a few questions, specifically this line raised some eyebrows.

Sharpstein said Taylor's girlfriend told him the couple was awakened by loud noises, and Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection. Someone then broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots, one missing and one hitting Taylor, the lawyer said.

Question #1: A FUCKING MACHETE?!?!?!

Question #2: Wait a minute...Doesn't Taylor have gun offenses? (Ed: he does) Meaning he, at one point, had a gun, yet chose the machete to "protect" himself? (Don't give me the "he can't have a gun now because of his past, because seriously, those who brandish guns about tend not to follow gun laws)

Question #3: I can't get off of this machete thing. WHAT THE FUCK WAS HE GOING TO DO WITH A MACHETE?! Is he Captain Jack Sparrow or something? Think that one through. You hear someone in your house, and you're gonna be able to get within a foot of them to use said machete? That makes no sense! I'm baffled by this. This "logic" will haunt my dreams.

Question #4: What the hell is going on in his life where he feels (rightfully so) that he needs a machete? Now I know the party line is home invasion. I call Bravo Seirra on that Sirs. I pray that someday, hopefully the same day we find out what Juanita has on MJ, we find out what was really going on. He was shot in the groinal area. This means it was either a bad shot, or a really really good shot.

Allow me to end this by reiterating the fact that I want Taylor to make a full recovery and hopefully play to the same insane level he has thus far in his career. This story is just crazy and got me thinking.
