Bengals: All in

The Bengals have called Chad Johnson's bluff, if it even was one. You may remember, being the selfless caring teammate that Chad is, he said that he wants out of Cincinnati. Can't say as I blame him all that much, it's a terrible city, with a team that's dwindling worse than that of the town's economy (ba-da-tish!).

Bengals brass is keeping their word about not trading the disgruntled (isn't everyone in Cincy?) wide receiver by turning down an apparent start-over offer from Washington. But, it gets better. Latest reports out of the 'Nasty have Marvin Lewis at the end of his rope with Chad, calling him out on sitting out the entire season.

"I've stated our case with Chad," Lewis said. "He has a contract through 2011. He's stated without an opportunity to go to a different team and a new contract, he wasn't going to play. I think he's a man of his word and says he's not going to play, so don't play."

This is a perfect way to deal with someone like that, and it's about time that franchises stand up to divas like this. You're under contract, that's all there is to it, end of conversation.

Everything is great in Cincinnati, thanks for asking.
